With over sixteen years of experience in real estate (commercial & residential) my passion for the industry has yet to dissipate. One of my favorite things about being a realtor is handing over the keys to a young couples new home, it is always such a fulfilling moment. That feeling comes from working the residential side. However, I also tremendously enjoy commercial real estate, mainly because I had years of experience prior to ever become a licensed realtor. I was already familiar and trained in this area so it was a given that I would be specializing in commercial property when I joined Ross Real Estate Services in 2001. Now, my business is spilt fairly equally between the 2 aspects and that is perfect with me.
I now consider myself a full time realtor even though I still own two other companies, Christie Cruise & Travel Masters and Ben Williamson Industrial Supply. I sold the majority of my buildings last year so that sale has allowed me the freedom to become more immersed in being a realtor.
My newest venture is the creation of the Business Center in the Skytower. Utilizing newly renovated office space on their 3rd floor for any business or person in need. The Business Center includes: private office space, office furniture, printers, computers, phones, a conference room, lounge area, fitness center, great views, and potential for great company. I imagine this space to be great for independent accountants, photographers, lawyers, digital marketers, you name it. I had seen the idea in larger cities, and wanted to bring it to Ashland. I want to see these types of businesses given a place they can call their own, and I think I can speak for others when I say we want them here in Ashland.
